The Resmortae

 

Little is known of this reclusive species.  They rarely deign to interact much with others.  In fact, nobody is really sure what they look like as the few times they’ve been encountered, they’ve worn coverings over their entire body, even hiding their faces behind masks.  Resmortae settlements are equally unknown, no other species has ever been granted permission to see one of their homes. It is generally assumed that they are deeply xenophobic and simply do not wish to communicate with the other people in the galaxy except when absolutely necessary.

 

The Resmortae have had dealings with the Illarans and the Hotanga Alliance in the past.  Such dealings were always minimal and at arms length, typically for a strict one-off trade.  Ambassadors always met in neutral locations and attendants were not permitted.
