Darklings

 

Darklings are a rare and terrifying creature lurking in the galaxy whose origins remain a mystery to this day. They are feared throughout interstellar space for their tendency to stalk in the night and attack the unwary with deeply unnatural cold. Their victims are cursed and, if they survive, often report feeling cold for the rest of their lives while those near them notice a lethargy that hangs without cessation.

 

Darklings are recognized by their stark white skin broken up by jagged streaks of dark blue or black that makes their flesh resemble arctic ice. Some more esoteric legends speak of Darklings who can manifest shards of ice to attack their targets
